Easter Sunday is the penultimate feast day of the church year in which we celebrate the central sacrament of baptism. If you are interested in being baptized or having a child baptized at the 9 a.m. Holy Eucharist service on Easter Sunday, please contact the Church Office as soon as possible at 936/756-8831, or by emailing Lay Ministry Coordinator Thomas Johnson at email@example.com. Deadline is Tuesday, April 15 by 5 p.m.
All parents and children are invited to bring their own flowers for Flowering of the Cross, at both the 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services Easter Sunday. If you are unable to, don’t worry as we will have an assortment of carnations on hand.

Episcopal Night at the Astros: Astros vs. Rays
Friday, June 13 at 7:10 p.m.
We have 30 tickets on hold for us in the field box. (The same section we had last year). In order to secure these great seats, we need you to claim them! Tickets are $35 each (regularly $42). To get tickets contact Colleen Hyche at firstname.lastname@example.org or sign up in the Church Office. Checks should be made out to St. James with Astros in the memo.
